739 Digital Art 10, 11, 12
This is a studio course offered for students who are interested in creating non-traditional art forms. As digital media is a new and upcoming force in the visual art world, students in this class will work with digital cameras and Adobe Photoshop CS4 on the computer to solve visual assignments. Students will produce a variety of two dimensional and three dimensional art works. Though using digital media, students will still consider traditional ideas such as the elements and principles of design, composition, and imagery. Art criticism and critique will be practiced, and a portfolio of works will be completed. Students will be required to purchase a flashdrive to be used ONLY for this course.
