Selective Color

Selective Color is a great way to attract attention to your photo. This is when one (or sometimes 2) area of your photo has color, and the rest is black and white.

We learned how to turn our photos black and white yesterday - so today we'll learn how to do a few more things!

  • how to create a new layer
  • how to copy, and paste
  • how to erase
  • how to turn your photo into a selective color photo!
  • how to set up your "work station" with windows- I like the History window!
At the end of today's class you should have your very own selective color photo! (Post it in a blog post!)

Please use one of YOUR OWN PHOTOS for this.
Choose one with bright colors, and one that would make sense to pull out only one color with.
